Jinsu has worked and volunteered in healthcare and human services in both the non-profit and private sectors.  She has worked as a registered nurse both in the US and abroad while participating in medical and surgical missions in Mexico and Guatemala.  Her interests include dance/movement, food/agriculture, labor, housing, mental health and Spanish language.  As a first generation Korean American that has lived on both coasts and abroad, she appreciates San Diego both for its Korean community and for the diversity of communities and cultures represented here.
